I'm Gift Lekgothoane — a South African multi-disciplinary engineer from Pretoria, specializing in robotics systems, artificial intelligence, and full-stack development. My passion lies in designing systems where sophisticated algorithms meet real-world hardware.
With hands-on experience building autonomous robots using ROS2 on Jetson Nano, deploying computer vision models with OpenCV and TensorFlow, and creating smart embedded solutions on ESP32 platforms — including work at Tshwane University of Technology — I bridge the gap between physical and digital systems.
When I'm not programming robots, I'm building React Native apps, contributing to open-source robotics projects, or writing about embedded AI on my blog.
