At AI Week 2025 hosted by TUT, our team secured 3rd place in a competition focused on using AI to help reduce gender-based violence (GBV). We developed a smart wearable AI system integrated with smartwatch technology designed to provide real-time monitoring, discreet emergency alerts, and privacy-focused support for users in danger. The project demonstrated how AI can be applied for meaningful social impact by improving safety, communication, and emergency response in critical situations.

The Problem We Addressed
Gender-based violence (GBV) remains a critical issue affecting communities worldwide. One of the biggest challenges is ensuring:
