I had the opportunity to attend the 4th Annual Future of Work National Dialogue, hosted by Tshwane University of Technology’s Institute for the Future of Work (IFOW) on 1–2 October 2025 at The Maslow, Pretoria.
The event focused on exploring how Artificial Intelligence, automation, and digital transformation are reshaping industries, education, and the future of employment in South Africa and globally.
It was an insightful experience that brought together academics, industry leaders, policymakers, and students to discuss practical solutions for building a future-ready and inclusive workforce.

Personal Experience
One of the most memorable moments of the event was meeting Talifhani Banks, Group CEO and Chairman of AnalyticsX, a strategic holding company operating in FinTech and mining. He leads ventures such as Myxpay, a digital financial platform, and Kanana Mining, a resource-focused operation with interests in key minerals including gold, copper, chrome, lithium, and iron ore.
I was truly happy to have met him, and it was inspiring to be in that environment. It motivated me and made me look forward to one day sitting in similar boardrooms, engaging in high-level discussions and contributing to impactful business and technology decisions.
