[Jetank Line Follower]
A camera-based autonomous line-following robot developed on the JetTank platform using OpenCV. The system processes live video input to detect and follow a path in real time by controlling the robot’s movement automatically.
JetTank Line Following Robot
This project is a camera-based autonomous line-following robot developed using the JetTank platform powered by the NVIDIA Jetson Nano. The system uses OpenCV for real-time image processing to detect and follow a predefined path using a live camera feed.
The robot processes video frames to identify the line position and automatically controls its movement to remain on track. Computer vision techniques such as thresholding, contour detection, and frame analysis are used to improve navigation accuracy and responsiveness.
Key Features Real-Time Line Detection: Camera-based line tracking using OpenCV Autonomous Navigation: Automatic steering and movement adjustment Live Video Processing: Real-time frame analysis for path detection Obstacle Awareness: Improved movement control during navigation Embedded AI Processing: Powered by Jetson Nano for efficient edge computing Technologies Used Python OpenCV Jetson Nano Camera Sensor Embedded Linux Results
The robot successfully followed predefined paths in real time with stable navigation performance and improved accuracy compared to traditional sensor-based line-following systems.
